Candra Cole Adams
Candra Cole Adams is a graduate of St. Edward's University and Texas Healing Arts Institute. After studying art at St Edward's with a focus on ceramics and sculpture, Candra discovered her passion of hands-on work. "Working with clay is something I really enjoy. Being able to create, shape, and transform something with my own two hands is empowering. Massage for me is very similar. My hands now have become tools for a therapeutic purpose as well."
Candra also enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle. "Yoga has taught me the importance of body awareness, the strength of a body-mind connection. It has cultivated in me a respect for my body and all that it can do. Massage is also an essential part of my wellness routine. Some people see it as a treat, but I see it as body maintenance!"
Candra opened Blue Door Bodyworks in 2012, in Austin, TX. When not massaging, Candra enjoys exploring other countries, sampling new foods, gardening, enjoying live music, and swimming at Barton Springs.
